As we get ready to march into an historic weekend in American civil rights history….
We sit here and reflect on how far we’ve come as a country. It wasn’t that long ago that interracial marriages were illegal in America. And there will come a time that gay marriage is legal as well.
That time is NOW!
God taught us to love your neighbor as yourself. So why would anyone want to discriminate against your neighbor???
It deeply saddens us that – by an overwhelming majority – people of color voted in favor of banning gay marriage.
But, as the saying goes, we shall overcome.
