Alanis Morissette and her husband Mario Treadway are being sued by their former nanny who says she was forced to work in harsh conditions!
Bianca Cambeiro, who was employed by the couple from August 2011 to March 2013, is citing one particular night where she worked a 12 hour shift looking after baby Ever.
According to the lawsuit, she was not allowed to leave the room or even take a break to eat unless Alanis or Mario was in the room or the daytime nanny showed up, and is essentially saying she was held hostage.
Bianca is also saying she missed out on more than $30,000 in overtime payments, but she’s suing for a whopping $100,000 saying she also suffered from emotional distress!
The singer has yet to speak out about the lawsuit, but c’mon Alanis. You Oughta Know it’s NOT okay to hold someone against their will!!
