The World Health Organization conducted a study and found that 4% of deaths worldwide are alcohol related, which is more than AIDS, tuberculosis, or violence-caused deaths.
“The harmful use of alcohol is especially fatal for younger age groups and alcohol is the world’s leading risk factor for death among males aged 15-59,” the report found.
Approximately 2.5 million people die each year from alcohol-related deaths. The study also found that men engage in binge drinking much more often than women.
This is terrible, but we don’t know solution is. Tighter regulations?
What do U think?
