The claws on Alec Baldwin are coming out again!
The 30 Rock funny man usually uses Twitter to take on his enemies, but on Tuesday morning, he got loud and proud on The Howard Stern Show!
So who is Alec calling out now? None other than one of his own recent critics, Anderson Cooper!
Last month, Anderson was the one sounding off on Twitter and asking why Alec wasn’t getting the shake down after he used what Cooper thought was a gay slur. Anderson asked:
“Why does Alec Baldwin get a pass when he uses gay slurs? If a conservative talked of beating up a ‘queen’ they would be vilified.”
Earlier in June, Alec made headlines after UK journalist George Stark accused his wife, Hilaria Baldwin, of live tweeting during James Gandolfini‘s funeral. Alec doesn’t take too kindly to anyone who messes with his Mrs. though and fired back at Stark, calling him a “queen” and a “bitch”.
When the Silver Fox found what Alec said to be offensive, Alec admitted he was truly “shocked!” He explained to Howard that anyone that knows him knows he’s NOT a hateful person AT ALL!
But he also stated that he figured out WHY Anderson was quick to call him a homophobe.
Prepare yourself for fighting words!
Alec said about Anderson Cooper:
“What i realize about him is, everybody in media, they have a job to do. Anderson Cooper has a job to do. And that job is to try to reinforce his credibility in the gay community after the fact that you couldn’t get him out of the closet for 10 years with a canister of tear gas. Now he’s the sheriff. Now he’s running around writing everybody a ticket!”
Double snap!
We know that Alec is anything but a homophobe. But those comments are just NOT cool, buddy!
Anderson was just calling it like he saw it, which doesn’t make him the sheriff, it makes him a guy with an opinion. We’d think you of all people would know a thing or two about THAT, Alec!

What do YOU think??? Should Alec and Anderson just bury the hatchet already? Or does this new sheriff in town have an outlaw he needs to bring to justice?
