Dude, seriously, we’d stop running our mouths if we were you. You’re about to get fired!
You’ll remember that last week, everyone was appalled to learn that young Alex Lambert, who was a contestant on American Idol last year, was living on the streets in poverty. The young talent took to his Twitter account to tell the world he was homeless, but not sooner were the tweets tweeted did the truth come out. 19 Entertainment, who handles all past, present and future Idols, insisted that Alex has been getting a retainer for all his work on the show and that to their knowledge, he wasn’t homeless at all.
The boy should have left the story at that, but he couldn’t leave well enough alone. Back to his Twitter he went to, um, clarify what’s been going on with him. He posted:
“I just got back on the internet from like a week ago and I’m reading that everywhere! When Do I get this retainer? $$ dude! These guys have been telling the media they been payin me! Makin me look like im lyin! It’s a shame dude!”
It really is a shame – a shame that either a grown man is twisting the truth for publicity or that a major corporation is lying through their teeth to save face.
Who should we be waving a finger at? Who?!
