This is just getting sad. Time to let it go!
Although Alex McCord and her husband, Simon Van Kempen, were fired from the new season of The Real Housewives of New York City, the pair are apparently so desperate to stay on that they have planned to meet with boss Andy Cohen in a last-ditch attempt to stay on the reality series!
However, Andy has no intention of doing so, but – in probably a pity move – he apparently is willing to play nice and let them know that he’d like for them to make occasional guest appearances on the network!
The source explains:
“Basically, they’ve been begging to stay on. Simon questions how he can ‘harness the swell of support’ behind them. They’re not accepting that it’s done. They are meeting with Bravo this afternoon and Bravo doesn’t want them on the show, but Andy would like them to pop up occasionally, whether on Housewives or other programs on the network is what they’re saying.”
Goodness! How embarrassing for them!
At least Jill and Cindy handled the whole exit with dignity and grace in their statements!
And in our opinion, our little Kooky Kelly did it best of all – by taking it in stride and not saying anything!
C’mon you guys, you’ve had a solid four year run! Now have some self-respect, and MOVE ON!
