How… sweet?
For the past 11 years Alice Cooper has been running an annual charity event called ├óΓé¼┼ôWelcome 2 My Christmas Pudding.” Only kind of creepy name.
But seriously, it’s for a great cause! All the concert’s proceeds go to a non-profit is a Christian organization dedicated to helping troubled teens and children in Arizona through sports, music, and educational activities.
Alice says it’s the highlight of his year. He said:
“Although I have played more than 100 shows this year, Pudding is the one I look forward to most. We love bringing people together for Christmas, for the sake of music and dance and the mission of Solid Rock.”
This year Cheap Trick’s Robin Zander and Rick Nielsen, former Korn guitarist Brian “Head” Welch, and Cooper are in the line up for performances.
The show will take place at Comerica Theater in Pheonix, AZ on December 17th.
