Not only does Alice Cooper say he gets Lady GaGa, he says she IS him — but with a vagina:
Lady Gaga is the female Alice Cooper. She totally gets it. She created a character named Lady Gaga and wrote songs for Lady Gaga, just as I write songs for Alice. But when you meet her offstage, she’s nothing like that person and neither am I.
Hmm, have you ever mat GaGa? She’s pretty consistent to us!
But he does have a point in their similarities. While musically, they may create different styles of art, theatrically it’s the same enthusiasm.
He’s been known to use real guillotines with forty pound blades, boa constrictors, you name it. And let’s not forget the time he hung himself with real rope!
He puts on a show and he commits, just like GaGa.
But while after the show, he can go back to being Vincent Furnier at a game of golf, GaGa doesn’t go back to being Stefani Germanotta. She really IS GaGa.
