Alice Walton got a pair of fancy bracelets, a complimentary ride in the back of a cop car and a new head shot for her 62nd birthday, all courtesy of the Texas Highway Patrol.
On Friday night the daughter of Walmart founder Sam Walton was pulled over for speeding and failed a field sobriety test.
After refusing a breath test Walton was hauled down to the Parker County jail and was booked for a DUI shortly after 11 p.m. Friday. She was released on $1,000 bond around 8:40 a.m. Saturday.
A rep for the Walton family said Alice “accept full responsibility for this unfortunate incident and deeply regrets it”.
