Above all, Alicia Keys wants her child to be successful compassionate.
Last week while entertaining guests at an event for her “Keep A Child Alive” foundation Keys talked about her hopes for her own child.
The selfless musician said of her one-year-old son:
“I think as a compassionate person, which I really want to teach him to be, you naturally want to lend and be a part of change. I know that naturally he├óΓé¼Γäóll find the thing that he├óΓé¼Γäós passionate about and wants to change.├óΓé¼┬¥
There is little doubt Alicia and mega producer Swizz Beatz’s son will fallow in his parents footsteps. Key says baby Egypt Daoud was philanthropic before he was even born.
“While I was [in Africa] shooting [a documentary for World AIDS Day], I was pregnant. It was so powerful being there … I thought to myself, ‘Wow, here he is experiencing this and he’s not even here yet.”
We are already impressed! We’re sure that any child of Alicia’s will grow up to be as kind an gentle hearted as his soulful momma!
