Alicia Silverstone is just like Cher — and every theater chick ever!
Like her Clueless counterpart, Alicia’s first boyfriend was a gay. Of course she was totally clueless (oh, hey) to his taste for sausage.
The now married actress admits:
“I’ve had so many crushes on gay boys. My first love was so gay, and I didn’t know.”
Like countless other theater naive girls, Alicia rejected any thought of her young love being a disco-dancing, Oscar Wilde-reading, Streisand ticket-holding friend of Dorothy, even when her pals try to warn her!
The actress confesses:
“I used to defend him because everyone would say he was gay, but he’d say he wasn’t. Then, about six years later, he had the big talk with me.”
HA!
Don’t feel bad gurl! It’s happened to PLENTY of other gals! (Cough, cough Danielle Fishel, cough!)
Luckily, Silverstone eventually lost her taste for the extremely well dressed and found a lady-loving fella to settle down with.
But we bet even now, she sometimes misses having a man that likes watching Lifetime!
