Almost All The Single Ladies & Men Own A Pet!

The American Veterinary Medical Association did some research and came up with some crazy new numbers!
54.7 percent of single adults have a pet!
That’s a 16.6 percent since 2006!
Single men who have pets is at 43.8 percent while single women with the furry loved ones is at 57.1 percent.
Not only that, but single pet owners are more likely to view their pets as part of their family than non-single people.

Here’s what one expert said:

├óΓé¼┼ôIt’s interesting to see that more and more single people are discovering the comfort and satisfaction that owning a pet can offer. For now, it’s true that more single women own pets than single men, but this survey shows us that this may be changing. By studying these demographic trends better, the AVMA wants to help veterinarians to better serve our clients and keep pets healthy.├óΓé¼┬¥
