When news broke last week about the new American Pie sequel in the works, we noticed one glaring omission from the list of original cast members confirmed or in talks for the film – Alyson Hannigan!
So, we reached out to Hannigan’s reps to see if she would be involved in the new movie or not.
No word.
Until now!
Publicists for the How I Met Your Mother star got back to us Monday with a “no comment”.

That raised some major red flags so we did a little digging, and what we found out is VERY troubling!
Insiders reveal exclusively to PerezHilton.com that the studio and film’s producers are not being very friendly with Alyson. “Jason [Biggs] and Sean [William Scott] are being paid A LOT to reprise their roles in the new film. But the offer they made to Alyson is insulting!”

She’s just as much an important part of this franchise than anyone else! Not to mention, being on a hit sitcom, Hannigan is the most relevant and successful of all the Pie alums!
And despite all that, Alison, we’re told, still wants to do the movie. “She’s definitely interested,” a source tells us. “But the way they’re treating her is not right.”
Not right at all!!!!
We hope they come to their senses ASAP!
