Oh no! We were really hoping Amanda Bynes would stick with her medical treatment for as long as necessary.
We had heard she might be receiving treatment until 2015, but now it looks like that’s being cut super short!
It seems instead of continuing her lengthy stay at UCLA, Amanda wants to move onto a more celeb-friendly lifestyle and has checked into a Malibu rehab center, The Canyon. In fact, she’s apparently already been there for three weeks!
We’re not sure why Amanda has been allowed to make the move considering the rehab center doesn’t have psychiatric facilities which seems to be what Amanda needs. Plus, she’s supposedly on an LPS hold because of concern over her mental health. In fact, she wasn’t even fit to stand trial for her DUI case! Perhaps the pricey medical care was hitting her bank account too hard??
Whatever the reason for the change of scenery, Amanda has apparently been keeping to herself at the rehab center. She’s also reportedly been paranoid about the paparazzi finding her.
But that might be the least of her worries because her new rehab center isn’t exactly scandal free as they were once sued by Brooke Mueller after an employee allegedly confidential information about her. That matter was eventually settled.
We just hope Amanda continues to receive the treatment she needs!
