Whoa! So many changes all of a sudden!!
Last we heard, Amanda Bynes‘ lawyer said she was too ‘mentally unfit’ to stand trial for her DUI case, and now we learn her mother has withdrawn her petition for a long-term conservatorship!!
What the what!?! Why is that!??
Well, nobody is too sure quite yet, but her lawyer apparently notified the court Thursday morning, so there will no longer be a hearing Monday.
Hmm.. could this have anything to do with her treatment now possibly lasting through 2015??
Yeah, lawyer Gerald Shargel represented MandaPanda today, requesting a postponement in the bong case — one for up to 18 MONTHS while she continues psychiatric treatment.
While some believe her bong case could be dropped completely, this new request makes it sound like Amanda is undergoing some SERIOUS stuff right now. Hopefully it recovers the Amanda we all miss and love. We’ve got faith in her!
