Can't Buy Me Love Star Amanda Peterson Has Died At 43

Oh no!
Amanda Peterson, whose claim to fame was a starring role in Can’t Buy Me Love, has died — she was 43 years old.
The former actress’ body was found in her Greeley, Colorado home on Sunday after her father said he got worried because he hadn’t heard from her since Friday.

He says he doesn’t know what officially caused his daughter to pass at a relatively young age, but did explain that she had sleep apnea, which is a sleep disorder that causes breathing to repeatedly stop and start.
Her father said the disorder, along with another illness, could have contributed to her passing.
Amanda’s rise to stardom happened when she was cast as Cindy alongside Patrick Dempsey in the iconic 1987 film, but she left the life of fame and fortune behind in 1994 when she dropped out of the entertainment industry and moved to Colorado.
Our hearts go out to everyone who is affected by this sad loss, and our thoughts are with them during this tough time.
