Hero Dog Saves Owner From Fire

Sorry Lassie, but there’s a new hero in town — and it’s a pit bull!
A man escaped injury from his burning mobile home Tuesday after his pit bull woke him up him, fire officials said.
The trailer was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived, Spring Bay volunteer fire Chief Dennis Perry said.
The homeowner, Ralph Cody, says he had fallen asleep with a lit cigarette but that his dog woke him up, allowing him to escape.
