Via The Mirror, the Pirates of the Caribbean star is suing a newspaper in the High Court for claiming he is an abuser and slamming his casting in Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.
According to the report details, a sober Johnny was in bed when:

“Ms Heard, who had been drinking, became aggressive and violent… punching him twice in the face”

He then allegedly defended himself by:

“…grabbing Ms Heard’s arms to stop her punching again and told her to stop. He pushed her away on to the bed and told her he was leaving and that she should not follow him.”

The docs also mention the mobile phone altercation we saw implode before their divorce proceedings started.
Responding to the post-birthday party claims, the actress’ attorney said:

“These allegations are totally false. One needs only read the recent Rolling Stone article about Mr Depp and the lawsuit filed against him by a location manager, among many other recent news stories and lawsuits, to understand his state of mind.”

SHAAAAADE!
Wonder what will happen next! Do you think Johnny has a shot at his case?
