Amber Heard is not looking to back down anytime soon.
Over the weekend, the blonde beauty’s lawyer denied claims that she is blackmailing Johnny Depp or lying about the abuse she suffered from the A-Lister. Go on!

Peter Sample, Miz Heard’s legal counsel, shared in a letter to TheWrap:
“Allegations against Ms. Heard are absolutely and unequivocally false.”
In case you forgot comedian Doug Stanhope, in his own letter on the site, accused the Magic Mike XXL actress of lying amid her very public divorce in order to make money off of the Pirates of Caribbean star. Not to mention, Doug even stated that Depp told him personally that Amber had threatened to blackmail him as their marriage began to disintegrate. Yikes!
Well, Amber and her legal team aren’t having ANY of Stanhope’s claims as they’ve clapped back that the funnyman:
“has no basis in reality and is nothing but the typical celebrity muckraking for profit.”
Oh snap! On Stanhope’s guest column about the divorce, Sample even slammed the site for publishing it. He concluded:
“It is highly offensive and disturbing that you would choose to publish it in the first place.”
Remind us not to cross Amber any time soon, m’kay?
Nonetheless, it seems that Johnny and his lawyer Laura Wasser are planning to fight these accusations made by Heard as they noted in court papers that the 30-year-old is simply trying to “secure” financial gain. And it appears that Johnny and his team may have a case since there is no police record of the alleged assault.
