Amber Portwood is talking for the first time since her prison sentence.
She covered a whole list of topics during an interview.
She talks about why she chose jail over treatment:
“I wasn’t getting anything out of treatment,. was still doing drugs.”
How she did it partly for her child:
“[Leah] needs more. I just know that I can be better than I was.”
What she think went wrong during treatment:
“I was very selfish and all I wanted was to find drugs so I didn’t have to withdrawal and I didn’t care about who was in my way,”
And how things will change when she is finally released:
├óΓé¼┼ôI├óΓé¼Γäóll actually be there for [Leah] this time and I’ll be that mom that she wants.├óΓé¼┬¥
