You knew American Idol was going to go out with a bang! And it turns out, it’s a gang bang!
Former contestants Jennifer Hudson, Carrie Underwood, Kellie Pickler, Ruben Studdard, Scotty McCreery, Josh Gracin, Lauren Alaina, Bucky Covington, Danny Gokey, and Clay Aiken, all took the stage to say goodbye!
Unfortunately, Kelly Clarkson couldn’t be at the live event because she is about to give birth to her second child! However, she was able to do a taped segment (above) where she performed a medley of her classic hits!
Overall, the night celebrated Idol‘s legacy as one of the best competition shows in the history of television! It will truly be missed!
