The decline of American Idol continues!
A new season of Idol premiered on Tuesday, but its ratings were down 10 percent from last season’s prem.
However, Idol continues to dwarf its competition by winning its 2-hour time slot with a 16.7 rating.
Last season’s debut scored a 18.6 rating.
