Ouch! We hate to say it, but this may be a sign of things to come. We’re going to try and stay optimistic.
Last night’s numbers are in and it seems American Idol’s first Hollywood show didn’t do as well as past years. It was down 4 percent week-to-week, ranking as the lowest Thursday showing in Idol history. Still, it managed to scrap together 21.7 million viewers with a 7.2 rating.
Nothing to scoff at, but still nowhere near the glory days.
Let’s hope things pick up when they nail down their finalists.
