The 52-year-old actress announced the shocking new career move more than two decades after starring in American Pie as the foreign exchange student Nadia! But why now? Speaking to People on Thursday, Shannon explained she joined the site to not only connect with fans but to reclaim her sexuality after all these years:
“I’ve spent my entire career working in Hollywood, where other people controlled the narrative and the outcome of my career. This new chapter is about changing that, showing off a more sexy side no one has seen, and being closer to my fans.”
