America's Got Talent Winner Gets Record Deal

It’s only been a couple weeks since America’s Got Talent crowned their most recent winner, but singer Michael Grimm has already signed a record deal with Epic Records.
The “boy from Mississippi” received a record number of votes for his rendition of When a Man Loves a Woman on the show’s finale.
Grimm said that he’s been waiting to “cut the album [he’s] been wanting to cut,” adding, “I know the genre, I know the route I want to go on this album, what it looks like, and smells like, and sounds like.
His solo album will be released in March 2011.
