Amputee Model OWNS New Ad Campaign! Proves Disabled Models Should Be Embraced In Fashion!

May we present: Debbie van der Putten!
This gorgeous gal lost her arm in a tragic bus crash at age 19, but hasn’t let that stop her from pursuing her dreams!
She’s currently a model in a new de Bijenkorf campaign, and the body diversity she brings only strengthens the Dutch department store’s ads.
All other brands take note!!
Debbie recently Tweeted a pic of the campaign, saying:

To which Models Of Diversity replied:

Love. It.
Other disabled models who’ve stolen the spotlight recently are Jillian Mercado, the Diesel model with muscular dystrophy, and Dr. Danielle Sheypuk, the first model to rock a New York Fashion Week runway in a wheelchair.
All this body diversity only furthers the idea that labels don’t need to constrain their models to a predetermined size or body type — people are beautiful in all shapes and sizes!
Why not reflect that??
