It’s a miracle that nobody was seriously hurt!
Earlier today, two passenger rail cars on an Amtrak train jumped the track near Ann Arbor, Michigan!
According to officials, the train “‘made contact’ with a vehicle at a public highway crossing’, which caused “the engine to turn on its side and the first two cars of the train to derail.”
Amtrak officials say that the train involved in today’s incident was Amtrak Wolverine Service Train 351, which was carrying 71 passengers and five crew members.
Our thoughts are with all the passengers/crew who may have been injured or emotionally affected by this experience. We would probably have been traumatized.
