This is absolutely AMAZING news!!!
Late last year, Good Morning America host Amy Robach was shocked to find an on-air mammogram revealed she had breast cancer.
Well after a few months filled with highs and lows, she’s overcome a HUGE obstacle as she just finished her eighth and final round of chemotherapy!
Amy shared the exciting news on Twitter with a picture of herself during each round of chemo and wrote:
“Today is my final round of chemotherapy.I wanted to share this moment with you to encourage anyone facing this battle.”
Despite the devastating diagnosis, Amy has kept her spirits incredibly high and even cut her hair in January to prove she was still in control of her own body and her image!
It’s been so amazing to follow her journey over the last few months, and hopefully this is one of the final chapters of a story with a very happy ending!
