Amy Schumer is not afraid to be controversial!
Especially during this season of her TV show Inside Amy Schumer. In a recent interview, she addressed her HIGHlarious Bill Cosby sketch from the Comedy Central hit.
ICYMI: Miz Schumer played a lawyer defending the iconic comedian against the various sexual assault claims.

However, the sketch was so much more than just a trending bit about the recent media storm surrounding the TV legend.
She shared:
“We worked so hard trying to figure that scene out. I originally pitched it: ‘What if it’s a support group for women who’ve been raped, and they won’t say who did it, but they’re all wearing Cosby sweaters and eating Jell-O?'”
Whoa! In fact, it seems the blonde beauty utilized her time onscreen to send a message to those remaining Cosby supporters.
When asked if she hoped the 78-year-old saw the scene, she noted:
“I don’t care. I think he’s so far├óΓé¼┬ª [She lets the thought trail off.] I guess I do hope people see it who are vilifying the women coming forward just so they can enjoy The Cosby Show still.”
Well said!
However, the 34-year-old isn’t the only comedy powerhouse taking on the funny man. Amy is joined by her film Trainwreck‘s director Judd Apatow — who’s also been very vocal about his disdain for Cosby.
Now that’s a team we wouldn’t want to cross.
Nonetheless, between her hit TV show and her summer blockbuster, everything appears to be coming up Amy.
Bravo! Keep doing you, girl!
