Amy Winehouse might be modeling the outfits from her new collection with Fred Perry, but she still doesn’t consider herself a fashion icon.
The troubled singer opens up to Harper’s Bazaar and reveals:
“I just dress like … I’m an old black man. Sorry! Like I’m an old Jewish black man. I just dress like it’s still the ’50s.”
As for her collaboration with Fred Perry, Amy adds ├óΓé¼┼ôI knew exactly what I wanted. And I love Fred Perry so much. I was honored…├óΓé¼┬¥
And it seems despite some difficult times these past few years, Amy’s in a better place now.
Especally with her new beau. Amy admits:
“I’ve got a ve’y nice boyfriend. He’s ve’y good to me.” But when it comes to declaring her love, she adds, “I hardly know … yet. We’ve only been together three and a half months.”
