This is SUCH great news for Andy Dick!
According to Andy and the folks at SOBA Recovery Center AKA rehab, the comedian is 100% sober and doing absolutely amazing following his recent relapse back into alcoholism. The news comes as a big relief given the 50-year-old’s tumultuous relationship with booze.

For those who’ve followed Dick’s career, it’s no secret the funny man has struggled immensely with addiction. In fact, A.D.’s admission into SOBA Recovery was his TWENTIETH attempt to get clean.
For whatever reason, SOBA did the trick for Andy and he has now become an unofficial AND unpaid spokesperson for the organization. Not only is actor doing everything he can to promote the rehab, but he’s also counseling patients who feel comfortable opening up to him.
Speaking on his inspirational turnaround, the candid celeb revealed:
“I had to change everything. May habits, my thought processes, my surroundings, my friends, my impulses, and my attitudes. I had to learn how to enjoy the simple things in life again, the way a child learns to brush his teeth. SOBA has gently steered me into a new direction. One of abstinence, hope, love, family, and community. I’ve seen hundreds of people here get sober, stay sober, and blossom. I don’t underestimate the power of community at soba. It might be the number one main aspect in my recovery that has kept me sober.”
Well, whatever works! Sometimes it’s a long road to happiness and health.
