Ambulances were called to Andy Griffith’s home in Roanoke Island, NC and he was dead when paramedics arrived on the scene!
This is so sad!
The 86 year-old star of ahmaaaazing old-timey TV programs like Matlock was a verifiable local legend to folks in that region!
There’s even a statue of him and Ron Howard — as seen in the opening of The Andy Griffith Show — on display in Raleigh!!
The details surrounding his death are still unclear but our thoughts are definitely with his friends and his family!!
You will be missed, good Sir!
