Oh no, this is such a bummer!
Andy Williams has bladder cancer.
The 83 year old singer of hits like Can’t Take My Eyes Off You made the announcement during what was supposed to just be a Christmas special concert.
Luckily, he’s got a positive attitude about it:
“I do have cancer of the bladder. But that is no longer a death sentence. People with cancer are getting through this thing. They├óΓé¼Γäóre kicking it, and they’re winning more and more every year. And I’m going to be one of them.”
So fab to hear him talking like that!
With next year marking his 75th year in the entertainment industry, and a refusal to cancel any dates next September/October, we’ll be willing to be he gets through this!
We know we’re pulling for him, that’s for sure!!
