What a great way to honor thy parent!
You may have heard that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie got married in a lovely wedding recently, but it was Angelina and Brad’s tribute to her mother Marcheline Bertrand that had our hearts a fluttering!
The actress lost her mother to ovarian cancer in 2007, so we were very much impressed to hear how Brad honored his wife’s mother which Angelina recently explained. She said:
“Brad had a dedication to Marcheline engraved inside the chapel where we stood.”
The couple stood on a special stone for Marcheline when they said the words “I Do,” as well!
But it wasn’t just Brad Pitt who remembered Angelina’s mother in such a special way, but Angelina’s brother James Haven who did, as well. He wore some pieces of jewelry that had originally belonged to their mother, and Angelina said:
“I also wore a little flower ring that was hers, and Jamie wore an angel pin from her jewelry box.”
Aww!
It’s so nice to hear how much Angelina still cares for her momma, and how she isn’t afraid to pay some very touching tributes to her, and how the important men of her life not only understand her desire to honor — but participate in it, as well.
That’s some family love right there!
We know Angelina’s momma would be so proud of her little girl these days!
