Last week, Sean Penn was showing his support for the Libyan people overthrowing Gaddafi…is that what you were doing there too, Angie?
According to statement from the actress herself, Angelina Jolie made a secret visit to Libya, and it looks like she was pretty much doing the same thing as Sean.
Here’s what she had to say about it:
“I have come to Libya for a variety of reasons, to see a country in transition at every level. I will be meeting with officials from all sides but above all, listening to the local people in the street. I am here to express solidarity with them.”
“It is the work of rebuilding and recovery that will determine Libya’s future.”
Very nice of Angelina to show her support. We’re sure it’s appreciated.
Which celeb do U think be the next to visit Libya? Perhaps hubby Brad Pitt will make the trip after he clears up all that World War Z drama???
