At the Los Angeles premiere on Tuesday night of his latest directorial effort – Gran Torino – Clint Eastwood got by with a little help from his friends.
Santa Angelina decided to grace the screening with her Holy Goodness, since, after all, she worked with Eastwood on The Changeling, which helped Angie earn some major moolah at the box office.
Talking briefly with ET, Angelina anointed Eastwood with her godly praise.
“He’s original, he’s classic. There’s just nobody like him. He’s strong, you don’t know he’s directing you. You feel like you’re just having a conversation with him, but he is a really good director. You kind of walk away and think wow he snuck one in there. But he’s great.”
Gran Torino is about the relationship that forms between a racist Korean War vet (Portrayed by Clint) and an at-risk Hmong teen when the kid tries to steal his prized Gran Torino.
What Clint doesn’t know is that Angie was snooping around for Korean kids to adopt.
We hear she went home empty-handed, much to Brad‘s relief.
