Blink 182 Angels and Airwaves is releasing their new album, Love, and accompanying film for free.
Frontman Tom Delonge says of the film:
“It’s super conceptual and highbrow in many ways, very artistic, very Stanley Kubrick…But it’s not a rock opera. It’s a very modern version of what could happen when you blend the film industry and the music industry together in a very, very arty, kind of cool way with professionals involved all along the path.”├é┬á
He also goes on to liken the film to Pink Floyd‘s The Wall.
Um, are you serious?├é┬á If you’re comparing yourself to Pink Floyd and Stanley Kubrick, you better deliver.├é┬á Those are some big ass shoes to fill.
