Even the smallest effort helps and gets notice! This is the perfect example!
Nico Joiner, who works at Dogs Trust Canterbury, spends much of his time behind the lens as he snaps the canine residents of the shelter in order to get their photographs circulated to potential pet parents.
Not a bad job and it helps animals find homes!
His talent has not gone unnoticed though, as Channel Five offered him a guest appearance on the show, How to Take Stunning Pictures on October 12th.
“It’s vital that I capture the dogs’ best sides in the hope they’ll catch discerning doggy eyes and find loving new homes,” he explained.
This is great for the shelter and for Nico. By being on TV, the shelter will garner even more attention, hopefully positive, leading to the adoption of more animals, while seeing Nico’s photos may help lead him to larger success as a photographer.
We love that Nico snaps the photos out of passion and nothing else.
People who work in the hopes of helping others, especially animals touch our heart.
