Well, doesn’t this fit well!
Anna Faris, a new mother herself, has been cast to star in Chuck Lorre‘s new pilot called Mom.
Lorre, the creator of such shows as Two And A Half Men and The Big Bang Theory, co-wrote the show which has Faris starring as a newly sober single mom who tries to pull her life together in Napa Valley.
If picked up, the show will debut on CBS.
This will be Faris’ first foray into television in a starring vehicle. She’s had guest roles on shows such as Friends and Entourage, but her career has mainly been in the movies up until to this point.
And what a successful career it has been!
