Nooo, not Anna Paquin! Anyone but Anna!
We were SUPER excited to see her in the upcoming superhero flick X-Men: Days of Future Past, but that ain’t happening!
The totally talented True Blood star put on her Rogue spandex and filmed a ridiculously righteous action sequence for the new movie, but director Bryan Singer says it won’t be featured in the theatrical cut!!
Her whole entire character is being trimmed out of the film!!!
He explains:
“Through the editing process, the sequence became extraneous. It’s a really good sequence and it will probably end up on the DVD so people can see it. But like many things in the editing process, it was an embarrassment of riches and it was just one of the things that had to go. Unfortunately, it was the one and only sequence Anna Paquin was in, the Rogue character was in. Even though she’s in the materials and part of the process of making the film, she won’t appear in it.”
Nooo!!!! We can’t believe her entire character is gone!
Well, OK, at least it wasn’t Hugh Jackman! Or Michael Fassbender! Or James McAvoy!
But we’re still SUPER sad about this!
X-Men: Days of Future Past opens in theaters on May 23.
