Things are really getting heated in the lawsuit between Tory Burch and her ex-husband Chris Burch, but luckily Tory has some friends in high places!
Anna Wintour and Diane von Furstenberg are speaking out on behalf of the designer, who has apparently been nothing but wonderful!
Miz Wintour said:
“The person who has been at every single appointment over the years is Tory. Tory is the one who has always talked to us about her aspirations, and her ideas for growth, how she saw the brand, asked advice on people she might want to bring in├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥it├óΓé¼Γäós always been, as far as we├óΓé¼Γäóre concerned, 100 percent Tory├óΓé¼Γäós business, and we├óΓé¼Γäóve never had anything to do with Chris.”
Hmm… Inneresting, Chris!
DVF also chimed in, saying:
“It├óΓé¼Γäós not just credit. Everyone takes credit├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥that doesn├óΓé¼Γäót really matter. What I find bizarre and nasty, and can├óΓé¼Γäót possibly finish well for him, is that he is├óΓé¼┬ª hurting [her business] by sabotaging it, by copying it. I don├óΓé¼Γäót understand.”
We don’t get it either. Tory is amazing and so are her designs. We hope this all sorts itself out soon!
