Salvation Army Receives A Sparkly Donation

Here’s something that will warm the cockles of your heart.
An anonymous donor dropped a $2000 diamond and sapphire ring into a Salvation Army kettle last week outside of a Miami Kmart.
Salvation Army Capt. Linda Payton retrieved the ring after a call came in from a woman who said there was something special in the kettle.
Payton reveals:

“Inside the kettle was, wrapped in a rubber band, a $50 bill and inside the $50 bill was a note, and inside the note was a ring.”

The note read “They need more than I. Do good! A Friend.”
Aww. See, that’s what the holidays are all about!
