Uh-oh. Joe Gatto is no longer the only Impractical Jokers star facing misconduct allegations!
Late last month, Joe was called out by several women who claimed he acted inappropriately toward them when they were teens, including by a former employee! One accuser even alleged he sexually assaulted her when she was just 19. Joe has denied the allegations, but he did cancel his comedy tour and checked into an in-patient treatment facility to work on himself.
Just days after Joe’s initial allegations hit the internet, it turns out one of his former colleagues was also accused of similar behavior — by two different teenagers!

The most recent allegations were shared in a since-deleted Reddit post on March 27 by user @Pretend_Crab_9160, who claimed James Murray sent her inappropriate messages when she was a minor! Per screenshots, the fan shared her allegations in the subreddit r/Impractical Jokers. She alleged:
“I’ve only shared what I feel comfortable with at the moment. Censored for obvious reasons. I was 16/17 when I first reached out to say I was a fan, that’s when he offered meet and greet tickets.”
In a follow-up comment, she noted she acted “older” at first, but that the stand-up star saw her “ID the first time [they] met” and yet he still “continued” with the icky relationship despite knowing her true age! She continued:
“On the night, it ended up being all access, I met him before the show for dinner and then went to the after party where me and my friend were given shots all night. He kissed me, I don’t remember much else about the night.”
WTF!
She claimed they “met up again a few times when he came to London,” continuing:
“I would go to the parties and stay in his hotel. I haven’t uploaded the videos in his hotel as my friend is indecent. His management and team were there. He bought me lots of nice things, gave [me] money for private taxis and things no adult would have been needing money for.”
When she “was in New York,” she alleges he texted her “begging me to come over in the middle of the night.” She was with her mother at the time, so she refused the offer. She shared alleged text messages of theirs at the time, showing that when James pointed out they were only “10 blocks away” from each other, she responded:
“oh come on it’s 5am!! I’m in bed haha”
He said he wasn’t in bed and that going to sleep was “no fun,” but that he should probably get some rest. She apologized for not being with him:
“Oh babe I’m sorry, you know i wish i could come be with you”
And James alleged said:
“Prove it”
Damn!
The teen “ended up going to his apartment the next day.” She continued:
“This all happened between the ages of 16-18. Please remember I was young, I thought this celebrity liked me and that it was the coolest thing ever at the time. I acknowledge my part in this, but people need to be aware so something worse doesn’t happen to other young women. I met girls as young as 15 doing illicit substances with the guys at parties. Be safe !”
Jeez! That’s not good.
She reiterated her allegations more simply in a different comment, claiming their interactions happened pretty recently in 2017-2019. James is 48 now. This is a FULLY GROWN ADULT allegedly talking to a young teenage fan like this! The alleged victim noted:
“I met up with him a few times in London and once in New York, from age 16-18. He got me and my friend very drunk every time, would make out with me. I thought we were ‘dating’ because I was a naive 16 year old”
That said, in another Reddit comment, she insisted she was not accusing James of sexual assault — even despite the kiss. Because she lives in the UK, where the legal age of consent is 16, she doesn’t think he did anything illegal. She alleged any “romantic/sexual contact” didn’t occur until she was 17 and she seemingly claimed the photo of them kissing was taken when she was 18 or 19). They’re relationship fizzled out when she was 19. That said, she still thought he crossed a big line looking back!

But this isn’t James’ only accuser!!
Before this Reddit user, a fan on TikTok also accused the writer of inappropriate behavior when she was of a similar age! Last week, TikTok user @Fall1995 claimed when James was 35 he started messaging her — a 16-year-old — on Facebook talking about all kinds of mature stuff, like sex toys and what would happen once she was a legal adult!
In a message allegedly sent on February 3, 2012, the accuser wondered:
“Hey, when i turn eighteen in a year and a half, do you think we could go out? :pp”
Later that day, The Tenderloins member replied:
“Haha you’re awesome. Once you turn 18, email me the same question and I’ll be happy to answer”
She wrote back:
“(: You gonna stay single until then?”
And he had the audacity to say:
“I’ll do my best, promise!”
Gross!
He later allegedly asked her not to “put what I told you about turning 18 on a Facebook fan page” because he doesn’t “like my private messages shared with fans.” He claimed “the network sees these pages, and that’s embarrassing to me,” so he asked her to “delete all of those posts.” AKA he was trying to protect his ass!
In September 2012, James thanked her for sending a video which he “love[d],” noting she’s “so cute!!!” Uh… what kind of video was that?? 
On January 3, 2013, they both said they loved each other and in another chat, they were on the topic of sex toys, with the anonymous fan writing:
“Hahaa, and oh Jesus. With all that talk about dildos, i’m a bit scared…. Hahahaa”
He laughed before she continued:
“Hahaa, OhMyGod, please tell me they’re not right or close…”
He wrote back:
“I will not say until we meet in person!!”
The Reddit user shared several photos of the pair together, though she censored her face out. To prove she was personally chatting with Murr at the time, she pointed out that back in 2012, she uploaded a voicemail she allegedly received from James and Joe on YouTube, something he later asked her to take down.
@fall.1995 (Please read if you’re still doubtful on the authenticity of my communication with Murr) This was the first time any of them had called me. My phone wasn’t working properly so it went straight to voicemail before I could even see that I had gotten a call. The number was privated so I didn’t have his phone number at this time. They made an app later on where you could call it and if you were lucky enough, one of them might pick up. However, at this time I don’t think the app was a thing yet. And also, when I was getting voicemails from them, it was because they directly called me. I would not have the voicemails if it was me calling them on the app. This video is also privated. He told me to take it down when he saw I had posted it so I just privated it for memories sake at the time. Only I can see it on my old YouTube account. You can try searching for it, but you won’t find it. So if people are still convinced I’m using someone else’s photos/videos, I don’t know what else to tell you. And none of, none of this was inappropriate. However, I had mentioned phone calls in the post from my phone notes and figured I could post it asl proof that if it was an impersonator I was messaging (3 weeks after they aired and wasn’t famous at all at that point) I would t have gotten phone calls from them and I would have been met with a stranger all the times we planned to meet. I wouldn’t have all the photos of us together or have been able to go to their tours if I wasn’t talking to the real him.
She claims she first met James in person 2012 when she was 17. She met him again when she was 18, and believes he gave her free meet and greet tickets and recalled the TV personality telling her to reach out anytime she wanted free tickets. They would go on to meet at shows for many years while talking online, even appearing in a YouTube video together. They were still meeting up at shows when she turned 21, and he allegedly asked to meet up at the casino to celebrate after the show and bought her and her friends drinks. Her whole point in sharing their history was to point out how “creepy” his alleged actions were.

@fall.1995 These are all the times I had met with James (and the others) in person. The first 2 photos were from the very first time we met in person when I just turned 17. About halfway through, I also included a clip of then I was 19 and he had Skyped me for a YouTube video. Not an “in person” interaction but I decided to include it anyways. The last 2 photos I was indeed 22. I edited those pictures first and didn’t want to do the math. Now that they’re all done, I didn’t feel like going back to re-edit them. #impracticaljokers #murr #jamesmurray
BTW, James was married to his first wife Jenna Vulcano from 2012 to 2014. He’s been married to his current wife Melyssa Davies (who happens to be almost 20 years younger than him) since 2020, who he reportedly met in 2018. So, he wasn’t always a single guy for some of these alleged interactions! So far, he has not responded to the allegations.
