Antonio Banderas is no stranger to singing.
Besides singing in some of his movies, he’s also been in several Broadway shows.
And now he’s lending his voice to UNICEF’s Children First, a new album that will feature performances by Banderas, Anne Sofie von Otter, Rebecca Caine, Barbara Hendricks, and the Sylvia Young Theater School Children’s Choir.
The album will benefit children around the world and will be released January 11, 2011. $3 of each CD sale will be donated to support UNICEF.
Children First is described as an “integrated sequence of songs that describes the human life cycle in music and text.”
This sounds very cool. Way to go, Antonio.
