Apple is going to close stores in the U.S. for a while on Wednesday morning so employee can watch a live feed and pay respects in a company-wide celebration of Steve Jobs‘ life.
The celebration — which will be held from 10 a.m. PT to 11:30 a.m. PT — follows a private memorial service for the late tech visionary at Stanford University attended by Silicon Valley luminaries, politicians and celebrities.
Many stores across California were not accepting online bookings for Wednesday morning, either for tech-support or tutorial appointments.
They won’t be closed all day, but many stores aren’t taking appointments in the morning.
We’re so glad to hear that Steve’s final legacy isn’t the iPhone 4S, and that there is still more to come.
We miss you Steve!
