
UPDATE, 4:54 p.m. ET: According to a reporter who claims to have spoken with the hospital in question, Talib was released today after suffering the gun shot wound late last night:
I just spoke to Medical City Hospital, and they tell me Aqib Talib was released from the emergency room today and is no longer in hospital.

This is horrifying.
There’s not much to go on yet, but sources are reporting that star Denver Broncos defensive back Aqib Talib was shot in a nightclub fight in Dallas early Sunday morning.

According to Rebecca Lopez of WFAA, Talib was shot during a fight at the V Live club in Dallas, and was transported to a hospital in the Texas city (below):

There’s not much more to go on yet; Talib is a star corner back for the Super Bowl champions, and certainly a very big name in the football world.
