Aretha, still as sassy as ever, IMMEDIATELY rejects Wendy Williams‘ suggestion for Queen Latifah to play her in an big screen adaptation of her life.
She gives no explanation why, but it sounds like she feels pret-ty strongly against that casting choice.
Who IS her first choice?
Halle Berry of course!
It’s too bad Halle can’t sing. However, Aretha doesn’t seem to mind the idea of Jennifer Hudson playing her, which is a casting choice we can definitely get on board with.
Let’s hope they pick someone soon because we’d REALLY love to see this movie happen!
