Ariana Grande is NOT playing about her privacy.
In court documents seen by multiple outlets on Monday, the Hate That I Made You Love Me songstress accused two hackers of infiltrating private accounts belonging to friends, producers, and photographers in her inner circle and stealing unreleased projects. In said lawsuit, the 33-year-old accused the two hackers, listed as John Does, of breaking into “various personal digital accounts” leading to the “unlawful and egregious theft, dissemination, and exploitation of unreleased content.”

According to the suit, the hackers obtained without permission unreleased songs, audio recordings, videos, and photographs of the Petal singer that were “not intended for public consumption.” Scary enough, the stolen property was allegedly sold “on the dark web for significant sums of money.” YEESH!
Ariana called the cyber attack a “malicious invasion” of her privacy. The Yes, And? singer’s court filings went on to cite DOZENS of songs that were previously stolen by the John Does in 2023:
“In 2023 alone, 45 unreleased songs belonging to Ms. Grande were hacked, stolen, and leaked by Defendants … Since her music debut in 2011, hundreds of similar leaks have taken place.”
So uncool!
On Monday, an insider told People the lawsuit is also seeking to uncover the mysterious hackers’ identities:
“The lawsuit is intended to serve as a deterrent against future acts of this nature. Not only targeting Ariana, but also the many artists who have faced similar invasions of their privacy and theft of their creative work. Artists deserve the right to control how and when their art is shared with the world. The unlawful theft and distribution of creative work undermines that right and should not be tolerated.”
This is not Ari’s first rodeo with hackers… In 2024, a man named Noah Michael leaked some of the pop star’s unreleased music, resulting in his arrest for wire fraud and aggravated identity theft. He was subsequently sentenced to 10 years in prison.
