Ariana Grande has reportedly turned down an offer of Damehood from Queen Elizabeth!
The thank u, next singer has been roundly praised for her bravery following the Manchester terror attack during her concert back in May 2017 on the Dangerous Woman tour, but she’s content to let things be and apparently doesn’t want accolades for it.

The Sun is reporting that Ariana was allegedly offered a damehood for her response to the terror attack and its aftermath, but she chose to “politely” decline out of respect for the families and loved ones of those killed in the incident.
An insider revealed (below):
“Ariana was flattered but said it was too soon. She explained she was still grieving. So were scores of families. She feared some affected might see it as insensitive. The committee wrote to her but she politely said no.”
Wow!
Another source reportedly “close to the singer” had more to add about the potential damehood (below):
“She was deeply moved and honored. She didn’t decline it as such but explained it was not the right time to accept.”
Impressive… and good for her!!
