Booooooooo + 1000x more o’s!!!
We were really hoping for more than just the one return season Arrested Development (even though there’s been talk of a movie), but we just got our hope’s asses handed to us by the Netflix CEO Reed Hastings (the same braniac that wanted to split Netflix’s DVD and streaming services and keeps hiking prices!)!
Here’s what he said:
“We don’t anticipate being able to do season five, six and seven. and we have less of a stake in it. So it’s really a fantastic one-off which is coming together incredibly.”
This comes during a celebration of Netflix’s other in-house series, House Of Cards, and it’s huge success! You’d think they’d want more from everything that makes the new release model work!!
He continued:
“Think of it as a non-repeatable amazing [sic] whereas the other things that we├óΓé¼Γäóre doing [are] trying to figure out a real mechanism where we can build shows and develop franchises over the long term.├óΓé¼┬¥
That’s a bunch of bullshizz because they KNOW that Arrested Development is what fans want — and we bet the subscription numbers are going to surge in May with the season’s debut!! If he’s telling the truth, they’ve made a huuuuge mistake! LOLz!
Still, we’ll take that movie if there won’t be any more seasons!
